On 4 July this year, I spent the weekend at my cabin in the hope of a long list of projects to be implemented. As I walk through the woods to collect firewood, I found a deer was only twenty meters from my front door. Based on the blood still on the deer, I realized I must have been born a few hours before my arrival.

I was not sure what to do. If the mother was close, there was chasing, plus I had a lot of work to do. High levels of snow had caused a nearby river to flow directly to my cabin. To stop the construction of the sink, I need to redirect the river itself. Yet, just let the little deer ‘on the ground personally unforgivable. Flies swarm on him to start, and the sun grew hot.

In animals, a mother, knowing that her baby will not survive, often leaves. Assuming that this was the case, I took it, wiped it and drove to the nearest town to find a way to feed him. How, nature holidays, veterinary and food stores were all closed. I bought a quart of milk recommended by a local farmer, hoping the deer would be adequate nutrition to get the stores open.

I was up all night nursing the deer back to health. He learned to walk and had also started to follow me around. But in the morning, the deer lost all power. In the course of an hour, unable to swallow food, and his breathing stopped.
